The Poitiers Range – 54 mm Painted Heraldic Knights
The figures in this series are of knights and other fighting men dressed and accoutred for battle in the period of the Poitiers campaign. They are in combat poses and the castings are multi-part allowing for some swapping of arms and weapons. Visors are separate and can be fixed in place open or closed, assembled so as to be moveable or discarded. The bases are also separate castings so that they can easily be removed to facilitate the fixing to a base to create vignettes or dioramas
The price is dependent on the difficulty of the coat of arms and range from £25 to £35 for foot figures and £47 to £105 for mounted figures. Add £25 to these prices for banner and standard bears. Prices for special paint schemes are quoted individually.
There are currently 314 coats of arms available – 176 for the English side and 138 for the French and their allies. Any figure can be painted in any of these listed coats or in another specified by the customer.
The finish on painted parts is matte, metal parts are burnished and varnished. Gloss paint finish can be supplied to special order.
Poitiers
There are seventeen basic foot bodies, eight mounted and eight horses in the current range. A large number of different arms can be fitted to these bodies and this, together with the choice of visors and weapons, makes possible a variety of different figures.
The figures illustrating these body positions are shown painted as various knights from the list.
